My New Book—“The Inca Code”—is Coming!

the inca codeAfter traveling to Ecuador, Peru, and Machu Picchu a while ago, I thought that would be the perfect place to set my new book, The Inca Code.  It’s the second in the Pete Chandler series.  Here’s what it’s about:  When investigator Pete gets a call for help from his old friend and colleague at the US Export/Import Bank in South America, Pete drops everything to go.  Before he can get there, his friend dies in a freak accident—he falls out of a tourist ride into a deep river gorge.  Investigating the death in Ecuador, Pete discovers his friend led a double life that’s pulled in South American law enforcement and Chinese gangsters.

As Pete digs into the mystery, he becomes a target of forces who believe he was involved with the dead friend’s crimes.  Now, Pete must fight for his own survival in a race that leads to the heights of the Andes Mountains, Machu Picchu, and the ancient secrets of The Inca Code.

I had so much fun writing this and you’ll enjoy reading it.  As in my other books, I take you on a journey through Ecuador, to Lima, Peru, up in the Andes Mountains to Cusco, and, finally, to Machu Picchu—located in the rain forests at the end of the Sacred Valley.  You’ll taste the food, smell the air, and be impressed with the size and grandeur of the Andes.  Of course, Machu Picchu will take away your breath.

The cover has an image of the tourist ride over the Rio Verde in Ecuador from which Pete’s friend fell to his death.  the inca code

The official release will be in June.  There will be a window of a few days when The Inca Code will be on sale as both print and eBook.  And, as always, thanks to all of you for your support of my books!!
